MY FAVORITE TOPIC : I introduce you my pets in French

MY FAVORITE TOPIC : I introduce you my pets in French

This is my dog Priscillia, nicknamed Prisci. She is a Staff who was born in Malta, and she will be 6 years old this year.

Her story is a bit sad, when she was 5 months old her former owner abandoned her, my boyfriend adopted her.

When a dog is abandoned, it is very traumatic. Prisci is very possessive, she hates being alone.

For example, if we have to leave the house to go shopping, it's very stressful for her, so we try to do it quickly and especially to reassure her.

As for her character, Prisci is adorable, she is a sweetheart, she is a cream. She is very nice, always in a good mood.

On the other hand, she has a lot of energy. She is tireless. Sometimes, it can be hard to manage especially when we go for a walk. She pulls a lot on the leash, and you need a lot of strength to hold her well.

Prisci loves to play: she plays with her tennis balls. This one has a squeaker. She also loves to play with sticks. And of course, she loves to gnaw on bones.

And this wonder here is Nora, who I sometimes call Nono. Nora is an exotic shorthair. She will be 7 years old this year, and she was born in France.

I adopted Nora when she was 1 and a half years old, her family didn't want her anymore, I don't know why. I don't know why. All I know is that I fell in love with this cat and that it was the best decision I ever made to adopt her.

It's true that in general, it's not that I prefer cats, but I feel more in tune with cats than dogs. Nora is for me extraordinary. Well, I must not be objective, because I am gaga over this cat. But, she is really great. She is sweet, funny and very obedient. Yes, yes obedient, even if she is a cat. If I call her, she comes directly, if I want her to come inside the house, she comes.

She is a cat that plays a lot, here are all these toys. She has a cardboard house with toys inside. She has her toys there that I bought her recently. She is addicted to this toy, it's crazy. Here she has a corner where she can sleep, also here right next to my desk. And here she has a corner by the window to watch the outside.  And she also has a cat tree where her kibble and scratching posts are.

Nora can't go outside 100% freely. When I got her, I was living in an apartment in Lyon and I didn't want her to go out in the street, because it's really dangerous.

You know that the life expectancy of a cat living outside is 10 years and that of a cat living inside is 20 years. So I try to compromise, I don't want her to be unhappy, so she can go out in the garden under my supervision, she usually doesn't try to run away. And I also walk her on a leash outside the house.

Prisci and Nora get along pretty well. At first, it was a little difficult, because Prisci was not used to living with a cat and Nora was not used to living with a dog.

Prisci's energy scared Nora, and Nora is not very social. Prisci had to be taught to be gentler with Nora and Nora to scratch Prisci less. It took 6 months to get them to get along and to be able to leave them alone without problems.

Now, they don't play together or very rarely, they have a hard time to understand each other I think. Nora likes to be alone, she is quite independent and likes to be quiet. Prisci, it is quite the opposite so well, we adapt.
