FRENCH GRAMMAR BEGINNER LEVEL:

Let's start with grammar.

The first thing you need to do is get interested in how grammar works. What is grammar? What is it used for? How do you use it? etc. This is something you can see already in your native language.

If you understand grammar in your mother tongue, it will help you a lot in French.

Then, you must master several grammar points to obtain the A1 level in French:

  • The present tense of the indicative

  • The definite and indefinite articles

  • Simple negation

  • Countries and their prepositions

  • Questions in French

  • Partial articles

  • Adverbs of quantity

  • The possessive articles

  • Adjectives

  • Comparison

  • The tonic pronouns

  • The imperative

  • The pronominal form

  • The future tense

  • Prepositions of place

  • The compound past tense

For the beginner level, you have to master all these grammar points.

Obviously, don't put pressure on yourself and don't try to learn everything in record time. Learning a language is an ongoing process and it is important to take the time to understand and master each step.
